Lesson #1: Natural Disasters 1
In this lesson, students learn about four natural disasters (thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and volcanoes), see short videos that illustrate what real-life disasters look like, understand the difference between hurricanes and tornadoes, learn a few interesting facts about each disaster, and play three games to reinforce what they have learned: 1) Tornado Game, 2) Definitions, and 3) Finish the Sentence.
Lesson #2: Natural Disasters 2
In this lesson, students learn about two more natural disasters (tsunamis and earthquakes), see short videos that illustrate what real-life disasters look like, learn what to do in case of an earthquake, and play a game that summarizes both lessons.
